- Description: The unit features an acute medical surgical setting with telemetry monitoring for select patients, accommodating over 25 private beds. Patient acuity ranges from moderate to high, excluding vented patients.
- EMR System: Epic
- Uniform: Navy scrubs
- Minimum of 1.5 years of experience in Medical Surgical/Telemetry nursing.
- Experience in large hospital settings, preferably level I or II.
- Ability to independently read and interpret telemetry, along with strong neuro assessment skills.
- Extensive oncology experience is necessary for chemo certification eligibility.
- Travelers with significant experience in monitoring and administering chemotherapy may submit their application prior to completing the online chemo certification.
- Shift: Day shift, 3/12's, with every other weekend and holiday off.
- First to float as needed.
- Nurse to Patient Ratio: 1:5-6
- Unit Type: Acute medical surgical with telemetry.
