Join Our Team as a Clinical Assistant Professor in Nephrology

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Clinical Assistant Professor to join our team in the Department of Internal Medicine at the University of Iowa Carver College of Medicine. As a Clinical Assistant Professor, you will play a vital role in the patient care and teaching missions of UI Healthcare.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Participate in the patient care and teaching missions of UI Healthcare
  • Contribute to clinical research and scholarship activities
  • Develop and implement educational programs for medical students and residents
  • Collaborate with faculty members to advance the department's research and clinical initiatives

Requirements:

  • MD degree or equivalent
  • Completion of a Nephrology Fellowship and advanced Kidney Transplantation Fellowship from accredited training programs
  • Board certification or eligibility in relevant fields
  • Eligibility for licensing in Iowa and authorization to work in the United States

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Additional training in nephrology subspecialties such as transplantation, critical care nephrology, interventional nephrology, or glomerulonephritis
