Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Floor Tech to join our team. As a Floor Tech, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of hard surfaces and carpets in our facilities. This includes dusting, wet mopping, stripping, waxing, buffing, shampooing, extraction, and bonneting. You will also be responsible for collecting trash, recycling, and soiled linen, and ensuring that all areas are safe and clean.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of hard surfaces and carpets in our facilities.
  • Dust and wet mop floors, strip and wax, buff, shampoo, extract, and bonnet as needed.
  • Collect trash, recycling, and soiled linen and ensure proper disposal.
  • Report equipment and cleaning product needs and malfunctions to supervisor in a timely fashion.
  • Ensure established standards, safety, and quality guidelines are met.
  • Follow infection control and universal precautions policies and procedures to ensure a sanitary environment.
  • Respond to the paging system in a timely and appropriate manner.
  • Represent HCSG in a positive and professional manner.
Requirements
  • Demonstrate a positive attitude and ability to follow instructions.
  • Perform routine, repetitive tasks daily.
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Must be able to lift/carry a maximum of 50 pounds, push/pull a maximum of 50 pounds, stand, sit, bend, and walk for extended periods.
  • Must be able to perform routine, repetitive tasks continuously.
  • Must be able to work around food and cleaning products.
  • Must live in the service area.
