As a Charge Nurse, you will be responsible for directing, coordinating, and controlling the nursing activities of your assigned staff, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Direct and coordinate the nursing activities of assigned staff, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care.
  • Assist in the evaluation of assigned staff and completion of assigned projects.
  • Provide care for a group of patients utilizing the Nursing Process.
  • Maintain nursing schedules and orient new employees.
Requirements
  • Associate's Degree in Nursing from an accredited school of nursing.
  • Current licensure to practice nursing in the State of Florida.
  • BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
  • ACLS certification required for Code Blue Team.
  • PALS certification required for Code Blue Team.
  • NRP certification required for Code Blue Team.
  • STABLE certification required for 2 L&D/Women's Srvcs-North TA and Labor and Delivery.
Preferred Qualifications
  • BSN degree from an accredited school of nursing.
  • Professional certification preferred.
Work Experience
  • 1-2 years of clinical experience.
