Job Title: Route Driver

Join our team as a Route Driver and play a critical role in the delivery of merchandise and products to our store locations. As a key member of our transportation team, you will be responsible for ensuring timely and safe delivery of goods within assigned routes.

Responsibilities:
  • Deliver merchandise and products to store locations within assigned routes in a timely and safe manner.
  • Unload, process, and reload merchandise and freight as required.
  • Drive Commercial Motor Vehicle on HUB routes and deliver merchandise to stores.
  • Pack and ship merchandise as needed.
Operational Duties:
  • Ensure timely deliveries to the Tailored Brands store network.
  • Manage and maintain the security of all HUB equipment and tools.
  • Assist in the reconciliation of data entry errors, transfer discrepancies, and pending transfers.
  • Scan drivers' logs and tuxedo manifests into and out of the HUB.
Safety:
  • Perform driving functions within the parameters set forth by the Transportation Safety Department.
  • Ensure that work areas are clean and safe.
  • Report all injuries to up-line management on a timely basis.
  • Attend required safety training and meetings.
Employee Relations:
  • Actively support the corporate mission statement.
  • Maintain a professional and courteous relationship with stores, customers, and vendors.
  • Work collaboratively in teams to achieve common goals.
Requirements:
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Must have a minimum of 2 years of driving work-related experience (job training will be provided).
  • Valid driver's license (Class A or Class B CDL is preferred but not required).
  • Able to pass a Company road test and a DOT physical, including a drug screen.
  • Good driving record: no more than 2 moving violations in the past 24 months or 3 moving violations in the past 36 months.
  • No DUIs, DWIs, or license suspensions in the last 10 years.
  • Must never have tested positive for a controlled substance.
  • No more than 1 preventable (DOT recordable) accident in the past 12 months.
  • Familiarity with the Scranton, PA, and surrounding market and neighboring cities/surroundings.
  • Ability to work in all areas of the HUBs distribution center and perform any necessary job duties as assigned.
