Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Tax Professional to join our team. As a Tax Professional, you will be responsible for conducting tax interviews with clients, preparing accurate and complete tax returns, and providing exceptional customer service. You will also be expected to generate business growth, increase client retention, and offer additional products and services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct tax interviews with clients to gather information and provide tax advice
  • Prepare accurate and complete tax returns, including individual, trust, and partnership returns
  • Generate business growth by identifying opportunities to offer additional products and services to clients
  • Provide exceptional customer service to clients, responding to their inquiries and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner
  • Mentor and support teammates to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to provide exceptional service to clients
Requirements
  • Successful completion of the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment
  • Experience in accounting, finance, bookkeeping, or tax
  • Experience completing individual tax returns
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment
  • Comfort working with virtual tools, such as video, phone, and chat
  • Ability to effectively communicate in person, via phone, and in writing
  • Must complete 10 hour continuing education requirement and meet all other IRS and applicable state requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent or higher
