**Job Summary**

We are seeking a highly skilled Total Rewards Specialist to drive the strategy and execution of our compensation and benefits programs.

As a key member of our HR team, you will partner with the VP of HR and Finance to deliver benefits, wellness, leave, and compensation initiatives. You will serve as the primary point of contact for these areas and ensure our Total Rewards align with company goals to attract, engage, and retain top talent.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate during Open Enrollment of the employee benefits program, including group health plans, flexible spending accounts, health savings accounts, dental, vision, disability, and life insurance.
  • Serve as the primary benefits contact both internally and externally.
  • Manage processes and procedures for benefit enrollments, changes, and terminations.
  • Oversee the processing and monitoring of leaves of absence, including FMLA, disability, and workers' compensation in accordance with applicable State and Federal law.
  • Ensure regular reconciliations of benefits and assist with escalated auditing matters.
  • Audit benefit plans and invoices regularly and support the preparation of 5500 reports.
  • In close coordination with VP, HR actively participate in annual benefits strategy meetings, making recommendations regarding plan design of benefits programs which support the company's strategic goals.
  • Implement process improvements, such as benefit enrollment workflows, leaves of absence workflows, and integrating new HR software systems, to enhance efficiency and accuracy in benefits and leave administration. Resolve complex employee benefit issues.
  • Remain knowledgeable of, advise on, and execute in accordance with State and Federal legislation and regulations affecting benefits programs and leave entitlements.
  • Develop and update collateral materials to enhance understanding of the company's benefits programs.
  • Respond quickly and accurately to inquiries and issues from employees, vendors, and HR team members.

Compensation Administration:

  • Maintain pay and determined structures to reflect market data.
  • Provide training and support for compensation-related processes (including merit, bonus, promotions, adjustments, and new hire offers).
  • Conduct salary surveys to maintain up-to-date market data.

Risk Management/Reporting:

  • Act as liaison with the company's workers' compensation provider.
  • Ensure completion of OSHA 300 log.
  • Respond to audit requests and collect, track, and report on metrics in support of the Human Resources Strategy.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in HR Management, Business Administration, or comparable experience.
  • PHR or SHRM-CP certification preferred.
  • 2-4 years previous experience in Benefits Administration.
  • 2-4 years previous experience in Leave Administration (FMLA, STD, and Worker's Compensation).

Estimated Salary Range: $65,000 - $85,000 per year.
