Kaizen Associate

MBS Pro Staffing is seeking a highly skilled Kaizen Associate to join our team in Fairfield, OH. As a Kaizen Associate, you will play a critical role in maintaining the efficiency and productivity of our manufacturing operations.

• Perform various errands, including visiting new buildings, vendors, and hardware stores.
• Respond to safety calls and ensure a safe working environment.
• Assist with other tasks assigned by Team or Group Leaders.
• Repair and maintain lighting, exit signs, and emergency lighting.
• Perform plumbing repairs, including fixing faucets, clogs, and leaks.
• Repair and maintain entry doors, including door handles, closers, and windows.
• Respond to HVAC issues and perform repairs if possible.
• Address dock door and dock plate issues and perform repairs if possible.
• Repair concrete flooring and diamond plate flooring.
• Clean interior walls and ceilings.
• Unpack and place new equipment on the floor.
• Install and replace welding equipment utilities.
• Support PE and Japanese support on new project installs.
• Fabricate tables, carts, racks, and other special requests.
• Anchor machinery and machine guarding.
• Redress weld tips and electrode plates daily.

• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to read, write, and perform basic mathematical functions.
• Previous experience with lathes, mills, and grinders, and ability to mig, tig arc weld.
• Willingness to work in a team environment.
• Ability to lift 32 pounds.
• Ability to walk, stand, and carry materials.
• Ability to operate in repetitive motions.
• Exposure to heat, processing oils, and weld sparks.
• Upper noise levels requiring hearing protection.
