Job Summary

Sapphire at Woodway Senior Living is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Health Services (RN)/Wellness Director (RN) to lead our clinical department.

This role requires a collaborative leader who can work closely with the Executive Director to ensure the highest standard of care for our residents.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement new procedures and protocols to enhance resident care and services.
  • Train, supervise, lead, and motivate the Health Services team to deliver compassionate and comprehensive care.
  • Assist clinical staff in identifying changes in resident condition and provide appropriate interventions.
  • Communicate effectively with residents, staff, family members, and other stakeholders as needed.
  • Maintain effective communication with residents, families, staff, and other stakeholders.
  • Utilize standard precaution knowledge and infection control measures where required.
  • Knowledge of and ability to conform to applicable laws, rules, and regulations.
  • Oversee nurse delegation and conduct follow-up assessments for residents with changes in condition or chronic skin issues.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • Active Washington RN License.
  • Proven experience in Community Based Care settings.
  • Proficiency in laws and regulations pertaining to healthcare.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate a diverse team.
  • Excellent communications and interpersonal abilities.
  • Commitment to providing compassionate and quality care to our residents.
