Job Summary:

The Leidos National Security Sector is seeking an International Trade and Security Specialist to join our team in Columbia, MD. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of ITAR regulations and experience working with export staff to review logs and assist with ITAR-related activities.

Main Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with Leidos Export Staff to review daily ITAR logs and assist with activities regarding ITAR letters and extensions
• Serve as the contract POC for ITAR-related activities, acting as the main interface to Leidos Export Staff
• Conduct physical audits for quality compliance and maintain ITAR subject matter expertise
• Assist with assigned compliance tasks, data calls, reporting requirements, record keeping, and file management
• Develop and implement continuous improvement projects, process and procedure development, and training programs

Key Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree and eight (8) or more years directly related experience; four (4) additional years of related experience considered on a case-by-case basis
• Three (3) or more years of experience conducting quality assurance of systems and software processes, PCA, documentation, and verification audits
• Extensive experience and expertise with ITAR regulations
• Experience with government systems and software engineering evaluation, including formal and informal audits and technical reviews
• At least three (3) years of direct experience supporting the intelligence community
