We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Caregiver to provide high-quality care and support to our clients in their residences. As a Caregiver, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and clean environment, performing various housekeeping tasks, meal preparation, and companionship activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Adhere to Right at Home policies and procedures.
- Perform homemaking activities, including vacuuming, dusting, sweeping or mopping floors, doing dishes, changing bed linens, laundry, and cleaning bathrooms.
- Prepare meals and snacks for clients according to their instructions.
- Provide companionship for clients, including accompanying them on walks, trips to social/recreational activities, and assistance with hobbies.
- Document service provided and report any concerns to the supervisor.
- Assist with activities of daily living, such as bathing, feeding, lifting, transferring, and other personal care tasks.
Requirements
- High school graduate or G.E.D. certificate preferred.
- Successful completion of a written Competency Evaluation.
- Valid driver's license and use of an insured automobile for work or access to adequate transportation.
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English as needed for the job.
