We are seeking a highly skilled Histology Technician to join our client's innovative and productive lab team at a 400-bed Level I trauma center in Norfolk, Virginia.

About the Role:

This is a full-time, permanent position that offers competitive compensation and full benefits. As a Histology Technician, you will play a critical role in preparing tissue samples for examination and diagnosis.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare tissue samples for examination and diagnosis
  • Operate microtomes and other laboratory equipment
  • Conduct quality control checks on tissue samples
  • Collaborate with laboratory staff to ensure efficient and accurate processing of samples

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Associate's degree in Histotechnology or related field preferred
  • 1-2 years of experience in histology or related field
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
