Job Summary:

The Nurse Director of Staff Development and Infection Prevention Specialist will be responsible for planning and implementing educational programs and infection control training in the health center. This includes developing and maintaining policies and procedures, conducting health center orientation, and ensuring compliance with State and Federal regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement educational programs and infection control training for nursing staff
  • Conduct health center orientation and maintain employee records
  • Ensure compliance with State and Federal regulations
  • Develop and maintain policies and procedures
  • Provide continuing education and training to nursing staff
  • Monitor and report on infection control and patient safety
Requirements:
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of California
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a skilled nursing facility
  • Experience in staff development and infection control
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
