As a Wildlife Biologist at Western EcoSystems Technology, Inc. (WEST), you will play a crucial role in conducting qualitative bat call analysis in the eastern and western United States and Canada.

This exciting opportunity involves reviewing and labeling bat calls, troubleshooting issues with field technicians, and assisting in proposal and report writing for bat specific studies.

We are looking for a highly skilled individual with a master's degree in biology or a related field, who has experience with auto identification software and acoustic detectors.

The salary for this position is $66,000+ per year, plus annual bonus, based on education, knowledge, and experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conducting bat acoustic surveys and identifying bat species using acoustic sonograms
  • Reviewing and labeling bat calls in bat acoustic analysis software
  • Troubleshooting issues with field technicians and determining functionality of acoustic data
