Job Title: Registered Nurse Supervisor

At JobGet, we are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse Supervisor to join our team. As a Registered Nurse Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising the nursing staff and ensuring the best patient care possible.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and direct the nursing staff during shifts to ensure high-quality patient care.
  • Assist the Director of Nursing in directing, coordinating, and supervising the Nursing Services Department.
  • Supervise nursing services for the facility during shifts in accordance with the Nursing Practice Act, facility policies, and local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Supervise and assist nurses with patients during acute episodes.
  • Deal with employee problems in a timely manner and document actions.
  • Assume on-call responsibilities.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • High school graduate.
  • Registered Nurse, graduated from an accredited School of Nursing. Current, valid license from North Carolina Board of Nursing and submit proof of license renewal every other year.
  • Provide quality-nursing care to patients, follow doctor orders, and have a genuine interest in geriatric nursing.
  • CPR certified yearly.
  • Attend in-service training and other staff meetings as required.
  • Ability to supervise nursing staff, ensuring work assignments are completed appropriately and timely.
  • Read, know, and follow personnel, department, and facility policies and procedures and adhere to local, state, and federal requirements.
  • Long Term Care experience preferred.
