Job Description:
We're seeking a skilled Radar Navigation Systems Engineer to join our team at Blue Origin. As a key member of our navigation team, you'll be responsible for designing and developing advanced radar navigation systems for our spacecraft. You'll work closely with our guidance, navigation, and control (GN&C) team to ensure seamless integration of the radar navigation system components with the rest of the GN&C. Your contributions will enable the flight of state-of-the-art aerospace vehicles and missions.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Collaborate in the development of navigation and sensor hardware requirements from system level specifications
  • Design and develop the radar navigation architecture, hardware configuration, and execute sensor performance trades
  • Contribute to procurement, vendor coordination, delivery, acceptance, installation, verification, validation, qualification, and certification of component hardware
  • Perform and guide testing and analyses such as flight test, thermal vacuum test, vibration test, etc.
