Job Title: Athletic Trainer

At Professional Physical Therapy, we are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Athletic Trainer to join our team.

About the Role:

The Athletic Trainer will serve as a liaison between our athletic population patients and our Physical Therapist team. This role requires a strong understanding of athletic injuries, their prevention, care, and treatment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct initial assessments of athlete injuries or illnesses to provide emergency or continued care.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans to promote recovery and return to play.
  • Collaborate with team physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Provide education and guidance to athletes, coaches, and parents on injury prevention and management.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in athletic training.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Kinesiology, Exercise Science, or related field.
  • BOC certification and current state licensure.
  • Strong knowledge of athletic injuries, their prevention, care, and treatment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
