Key Responsibilities- Develop and Implement Infection Control Plans: Collaborate with our leadership team to develop, implement, and evaluate infection control plans that meet or exceed regulatory requirements.
- Conduct Surveillance and Investigations: Conduct regular surveillance and investigations to identify and mitigate potential infection control risks.
- Provide Education and Training: Provide education and training to our staff on infection control best practices and protocols.
- Collaborate with Healthcare Teams: Work closely with our healthcare teams to ensure seamless communication and coordination on infection control matters.
- Monitor and Report Infection Control Metrics: Monitor and report infection control metrics to our leadership team to inform data-driven decision making.
- Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN): Must possess a minimum of a Nursing Diploma with associated RN or LPN license from an accredited college or university.
- Certification in Infection Control: Must possess certification in Infection Control as specified by Appendix PP at F880 prior to assuming the role in infection prevention and control.
- Strong Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Must possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with our healthcare teams.
- Ability to Work in a Fast-Paced Environment: Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
