Job Title: Medical Assistant

ClareMedica Health Partners LLC is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our team. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our healthcare professionals in delivering high-quality services.

Job Summary:

The Medical Assistant will be responsible for providing clinical support to our healthcare providers, ensuring that patients receive timely and effective care. This includes taking vital signs, recording medical histories, and preparing patients for examinations. You will also be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date medical records, ordering laboratory tests, and communicating with patients and healthcare providers as needed.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide clinical support to healthcare providers, including taking vital signs, recording medical histories, and preparing patients for examinations.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records, including patient demographics, medical histories, and test results.
  • Order laboratory tests and communicate results to healthcare providers and patients.
  • Assist with administrative tasks, such as scheduling appointments and managing patient flow.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare providers to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; graduate of an approved training program for Medical Assistants preferred.
  • Minimum of 1 year of work experience as a Medical Assistant, Patient Care Technician, or similar role in a hospital, medical clinic, or comparable environment.
  • Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification for Healthcare Workers or Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification preferred.
  • Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and ability to maintain confidentiality of client information.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Ability to maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records, including patient demographics, medical histories, and test results.
Working Conditions:

The Medical Assistant will work in a fast-paced clinical environment, with frequent exposure to patients and healthcare providers. The ideal candidate will be able to work effectively in a team environment, communicate effectively with patients and healthcare providers, and maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records.

Travel:

Travel is primarily local during the business day, with occasional travel to other ClareMedica Health Partners LLC locations as needed.
