Key Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate patients for appropriate type and frequency of treatment and develop a plan of care based on diagnosis.
  • Administer prescribed respiratory therapeutic services and implement and monitor patient care plans and equipment.
  • Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition, and perform advanced respiratory care modalities.
  • Educate patients and families about health conditions and provide information about community support groups and other available programs.
  • Assist with care, calibration, and maintenance of equipment, and participate in maintaining departmental inventory levels for supplies and equipment.
Requirements:
  • Associate's degree in Respiratory Care or equivalent years of experience and education.
  • Valid Respiratory Therapy license and relevant experience in a healthcare setting.
  • Basic Life Support HealthCare Provider (BLS HCP) certification.
  • Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification.
