Mobile Truck Technician Job Description

Papé, a leading medium and heavy-duty truck and equipment dealer, is seeking a skilled Mobile Truck Technician to join their team. As a Mobile Technician, you will perform repairs and maintenance on heavy-duty class 7 & 8 trucks at customer locations, ensuring their trucks are running in peak form and maximizing their uptime.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform repairs and maintenance on heavy-duty class 7 & 8 trucks at customer locations
  • Diagnose and repair complex issues with electronic systems, A/C, electrical, and major engine repairs
  • Interact with customers to understand their needs and provide excellent service
  • Travel to customer locations in a fully loaded Papé service vehicle
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience repairing class 7 & 8 vehicles
  • Excellent communication and customer relations skills
  • Experience with 2010+ emissions, Cummins, and Paccar MX engines
  • A valid driver's license with a good driving record
  • Must have own tools
