Job Description:

As a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) at HealthPro Heritage, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our residents. You will work alongside a skilled, supportive team to provide personalized care, fostering a nurturing environment that empowers seniors to reach their fullest potential in health and independence.

Responsibilities include:

  • ">
  • Conducting comprehensive evaluations of speech, language, voice, and swallowing abilities using standardized tests and clinical observations.">
  • Developing accurate diagnoses based on assessment results.">
  • Implementing evidence-based therapies for speech, language, voice, and swallowing disorders; monitoring and adjusting treatment plans.">
  • Educating and supporting patients and families on disorders, treatment strategies, and daily communication improvement.">
  • Maintaining accurate records of evaluations, progress, and treatment plans, ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards.">

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • ">
  • A degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited institution.">
  • Valid state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist, or license eligible.">
  • Certification from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) (CCC-SLP) preferred.">
  • Strong assessment, diagnostic, and therapeutic abilities with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.">
  • Proficient in using diagnostic tools, therapy equipment, relevant software, and electronic health record systems.">
