Job Title: Phlebotomist - Inpatient

St. Charles Health System is seeking a skilled Phlebotomist to join our team. As a Phlebotomist, you will be responsible for processing laboratory orders and performing phlebotomy procedures with minimal discomfort to patients of all ages.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process laboratory orders and perform phlebotomy procedures
  • Collect blood samples from patients of all ages
  • Work collaboratively with laboratory staff to ensure accurate and timely results
  • Provide excellent customer service to patients and families

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • AHA Basic Life Support for Healthcare Provider certification
  • Phlebotomy certification through a St. Charles Health System approved accredited agency (preferred)

Working Conditions:

This position requires standing, walking, and keyboard operation for extended periods. The ability to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) is also required.
