Job Summary

West Coast Logistics is seeking a skilled Timekeeper III to join our team in Pasadena, Texas. As a key member of our operations department, you will be responsible for assisting with timekeeping for our 24/7 operations team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform time entry and coding for hourly workforce using Microsoft Excel based timesheets.
  • Review and validate time entry data each week as part of our payroll process.
  • Serve as liaison and main point of contact for timekeeping and payroll questions for hourly workforce.
  • Perform field visits, when necessary, to meet with hourly employees to discuss time-related issues.
  • Monitor and identify employee vacation and absence time. Once identified, perform call-out process for backfill of position.
  • Develop and communicate time and absence reports for management.
  • Develop weekly operator shift schedule in accordance with Refinery Shift Team Leader.
  • Monitor and record employee overtime tracking sheet.
Requirements
  • 3-5 years of experience in timekeeping or a related field.
  • Intermediate/advanced level proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Experience timekeeping for a rotating 24-hour workforce.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC).
  • Experience with a DuPont rotating shift schedule.
