Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Licensed Dietician to lead our Food Services Department at The Manor of Kenosha. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for directing the daily operations of our food services, ensuring the highest quality of care and service to our residents.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures for the Food Services Department, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations.
  • Supervise and train food service personnel, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to provide excellent care.
  • Conduct regular inspections of food storage rooms, utility closets, and other areas to ensure cleanliness and safety.
  • Participate in facility surveys and inspections, ensuring our food services meet the highest standards.
  • Develop and implement plans to correct any food service deficiencies, ensuring our residents receive the best possible care.
  • Collaborate with the Quality Assessment and Assurance Committee to develop and implement plans to improve food services.
Requirements:
  • Must be a Licensed Dietician in the state of Wisconsin.
  • 1 year of experience in dietary supervision in a skilled nursing or other medical facility.
  • Knowledge of infection control, OSHA, safety regulations, and nursing home regulations applicable to the dietary department.
  • Intermediate computer skills.
