Job Title: CMM Inspector

At Align Precision - Philadelphia, LLC, we are seeking a highly skilled CMM Inspector to join our team. As a CMM Inspector, you will be responsible for performing inspections of products to ensure conformance to all specifications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate Coordinate Measuring Machines using pre-written programs to inspect products and determine conformance to specifications.
  • Set up and qualify CMM probes using established calibration routines to ensure accurate measurements.
  • Evaluate inspection results to determine conformance to requirements and identify any deviations.
  • Utilize various manual measuring tools, including calipers, micrometers, and height gages, to measure parts and part characteristics.
  • Communicate inspection results effectively with co-workers and supervisors to ensure quality and safety standards are met.
Requirements:
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience operating CMMs is required.
  • Programming and operation experience using PCDMIS driven CMMs is highly desirable.
Competencies:
  • Attention to detail and ability to read mechanical drawings and view CAD models and specifications.
  • Competent in the use of desktop PCs and software, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
Work Environment:

The work environment is a fast-paced manufacturing facility with moderate to loud noise levels. The employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts.
