Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Automotive Finance Manager to join our team at Group 1 Automotive, Inc. This is a fantastic opportunity to leverage your expertise in finance and customer service to drive business growth and excellence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the customer loan origination and approval process, ensuring seamless and efficient transactions.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with our lenders, fostering a collaborative environment that drives business success.
  • Recruit, hire, and develop associates for the Financial Services Department, promoting a culture of excellence and teamwork.
  • Maintain accurate and timely reports, providing valuable insights to inform business decisions.
  • Determine customer financing needs and explore payment options, delivering exceptional customer experiences.
  • Present warranties, credit insurance, GAP insurance, and other beneficial products, driving revenue growth and customer satisfaction.
  • Secure and finalize transactions in a legal and ethical manner, ensuring high productivity and customer satisfaction.
  • Meet monthly forecasts for finance and insurance income, penetration levels, and customer satisfaction, driving business excellence.
  • Prepare all federal, state, and dealer paperwork related to transactions, submitting to the Accounting Department in a timely manner.
  • Enhance customer satisfaction throughout the purchase experience, fostering a positive and memorable experience.
  • Supervise financial services associates, ensuring individual and department goals are met, and behaviors align with the Company's Values.
Requirements
  • Must have F&I management experience, with a proven track record of performance and customer satisfaction.
  • Proficient in operating a personal computer, including Microsoft Office: E-mail, Excel, and Word.
  • Ability to work independently and be self-motivated, with a great attitude and high-energy personality.
  • Excellent customer service skills, with a professional appearance and work ethic.
  • Strong attention to detail, with the ability to work well in a process-driven environment.
  • Outstanding communication skills in both verbal and written, with a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • College degree or experience preferred, with a valid driver's license in the state of employment and a good driving record.
