I serve as the medical director for Sound Physicians' hospital medicine division. Our team is eager to connect with physicians who are either transitioning from training or seeking a new direction in their careers. Team
  • We are a cohesive, established group consisting of 23 physicians and 2 nurse practitioners.
  • Our team is made up of healthcare professionals from various geographic, educational, and training backgrounds, fostering a collaborative environment for patient care.
  • Our physicians and NPs actively participate in hospital committees, medical staff meetings, and the education of family medicine residents.
  • We share diverse interests such as skiing, hiking, cricket, tennis, and painting, often gathering after work for social activities.
  • We proudly support H1b visa candidates, with dedicated in-house visa specialists and experts in licensing and credentialing. All necessary filing fees for the visa are covered by our organization.
  • For this nocturnist position, we are particularly interested in candidates who will be available in the near future.
Practice
  • Our work environment features a closed ICU with comprehensive intensivist support. Our team is not responsible for performing procedures or managing codes.
  • We host a lunch and learn session every Wednesday and conduct a monthly team meeting.
  • Recognizing the importance of work-life balance, we offer flexible scheduling and mutual coverage among team members during absences.
  • Anticipated annual compensation is competitive, exceeding $300k to $350k for full-time positions.
  • Our benefits package includes medical, dental, vision, life and AD&D insurance, long- and short-term disability, a 401k plan with matching contributions, paid medical malpractice and tail coverage, as well as an annual CME allowance.
