Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Orthopedic Therapist to join our team at the Center for Orthopedic Research and Education.

About the Role:

  • Assess patient condition and establish goals, treatments, and care plans in conjunction with the physician, patient/family.
  • Ensure that appropriate treatment is performed in an interdisciplinary fashion, consulting with physicians about the impact of physical therapy factors on the patient's health status.
  • Document findings, treatments, and other patient information for the medical record.
  • Educate patient/family on appropriate care and use of various therapies/exercises.
  • Serve as an information/education resource for patients, families, and staff.
  • Supervise Physical Therapy Assistants and Physical Therapy Technicians.
  • Serve as a resource to Physical Therapy staff.
  • Provide ongoing education to the Physical Therapy staff.
  • Assist the director with patient care issues.
  • Maintain patient confidentiality.
  • The job holder must demonstrate current competencies for the job position.

Requirements:

  • At least 1 year experience in Physical Therapy (will consider new grads)
  • PT State Certification

Preferred: Two years of experience in an outpatient physical therapy clinic. Experience with orthopedics.
