We are seeking a skilled individual to assist in various functions to support our operations, including laser assistance and logistics in our machine shop. This role requires spending a significant portion of the day on the shop floor.
Key Responsibilities:- The Laser Operations Coordinator will manage the machinery and equipment utilized for laser applications, including engraving and cutting metal or plastic components.
- Utilizing personal transportation for the delivery and collection of parts from suppliers, compensated at the standard IRS mileage rate in addition to hourly wages.
- Preparing parts for shipment, including washing and packaging.
- Organizing and maintaining documentation through scanning and filing.
- Receiving incoming materials.
- Performing light cleaning duties within the facility.
Full-time / Day Shift - Monday to Friday
Qualifications:- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Capability to stand for extended periods.
- Strong work ethic and collaborative team spirit.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Self-motivated and proactive.
- Experience in manufacturing is advantageous.
- Willingness to adapt to varying tasks based on workload.
