Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced IT Solutions Architect for Advanced Planning to drive the design, development, and integration of Production Planning solutions and associated applications. As a key member of our team, you will be accountable for providing leadership in functional design, implementation, and support of Production Planning applications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Translate complex business information into actionable system activities, recommend best practices, and present associated technical process components.
  • Operate as a credible IT thought leader for Supply Chain Planning business functions.
  • Work with key business stakeholders to evaluate requirements and assess impact of use cases, ensuring the solution produces desired business outcomes.
  • Investigate, research, and evaluate new applications and/or technologies and application integrations to improve business productivity.
  • Identify gaps between current and future state of business processes and prioritize opportunities to improve processes through the Business Capability Matrix (BCM).
  • Ensure solutions designed by analysts are scalable and in sync with business needs.
  • Coach other team members with design and thought leadership to achieve organizational goals.
  • Interact with analysts, business leadership, SMEs, and IT team members to drive business operations and change management.

Requirements

  • Experience implementing Production Planning solutions (SAP PP/DS) in a medical device or high-tech manufacturing industry.
  • Minimum 12+ years of implementing Production Planning and related planning solutions.
  • In-depth experience in SAP – Production Planning and Detail Scheduling capabilities.
  • In-depth knowledge of business processes in Demand/Supply Planning, Capacity Planning, Distribution planning, and Service planning.
  • Experience with E2E Supply Chain processes (Procurement, Manufacturing, Logistics, Inventory Management).
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in engineering, information systems, or related field, or equivalent work experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in medical device manufacturing or lifesciences industry.
  • Excellent communication skills to present complex ideas and concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Exceptional social skills; demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with a wide range of team members at all levels of the organization.

Work Environment

This role requires working onsite in our Sunnyvale, CA office on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday every week.
