Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Core Java Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Java and related technologies, with experience in designing and implementing scalable and efficient web applications.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Designing and implementing scalable and efficient web applications using Java and related technologies.
  • Building and maintaining back-end services and APIs using Java, Spring Boot, JPA using Hibernate, and other related technologies.
  • Developing, testing, and deploying front-end features using JavaScript frameworks (e.g., React, Node JS).
  • Creating and maintaining unit test cases using Mockito, Jest.
  • Collaborating with UI/UX designers to implement user-friendly interfaces.
  • Ensuring the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
  • Conducting code reviews and providing constructive feedback to team members.
  • Troubleshooting and resolving application issues and bugs.
  • Participating in the full software development lifecycle, including requirement analysis, design, coding, testing, and deployment.
  • Staying updated with emerging trends and technologies in software development.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Experience in software development life cycle using Java.
  • Proven experience as a Fullstack Developer or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of back-end frameworks such as Spring Boot and JPA using Hibernate.
  • Experience working with JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3 and related technologies.
  • Experience with front-end frameworks/libraries such as React JS, Redux.
  • Familiarity with database technologies like Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL.
  • Understanding of RESTful API design and development.
  • Experience on cloud solutions e.g., PCF, AWS, Azure.
  • Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work in an agile development environment.

Good to have:

  • Experience with OpenShift / ARO.
  • Good to have a knowledge of Play framework.
  • Good to have a knowledge of Yugabyte.
  • CI/CD & DevOps activities- Jenkins pipelines, Integrated code scans and vulnerability remediations.
