Buried Drop Installation Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Buried Drop Installation Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our crew, you will be responsible for installing buried copper, fiber, and coaxial cable from the network hub to customers' residences.

In this role, you will work closely with our team to deliver high-quality installations while ensuring customer satisfaction. Your technical expertise and customer focus will be essential in creating meaningful connections with our clients.

To succeed in this position, you will need strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

• Perform physical installations of buried cable to connect Windstream's network to customers' residences.
• Use technical expertise and customer focus to create positive relationships with customers.
• Interpret work drawings and instructions, complete necessary paperwork, and sell/promote Windstream products and services.
• Train new employees on daily job functions and operate hand-held computers for retrieving and clearing job tasks.

• Able to walk 1/2 mile + while operating a drop plow that places service cable.
• Ability to work various schedules, including overtime, callouts, and standby as needed.
• Basic technology and math skills, ability to distinguish colors present in color-coded cable, lift/carry up to 70 pounds, and pass pre-employment DOT physical.
