Ultrasound Technologist Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Ultrasound Technologist to join our team at Travel Nurse Across America. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for performing high-quality ultrasound exams and providing exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Educate patients and their families about the ultrasound procedure and ensure their comfort and safety throughout the exam.
  • Operate sonographic equipment to capture high-quality images and identify any abnormalities.
  • Prepare exam rooms and assist radiologists with ultrasound procedures and biopsies.
  • Report any critical findings to the medical staff and maintain accurate patient records.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest sonography equipment and technology.
Requirements:
  • 1 year of experience as an Ultrasound Technologist.
  • BLS certification and ARDMS National Certification.
  • State-specific licensing when required.
  • Ability to stand and walk for long periods, as well as bend, lean, or stoop without difficulty.
  • Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
