The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1+ years of occupational therapy experience, with a focus on elementary caseloads. This role is perfect for an OT who is eager to support students' development and educational engagement.

The responsibilities of this role include:

  • Assessing and developing individualized treatment plans for elementary students
  • Collaborating with teachers, staff, and families to integrate therapy goals into students' educational plans
  • Providing direct therapy services focusing on enhancing students' motor skills, sensory processing, and adaptive abilities
  • Documenting progress and adjusting therapy plans in accordance with students' evolving needs

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following qualifications:

  • An active Delaware Occupational Therapy license
  • Prior experience in a school or pediatric setting preferred, but not required
  • Exceptional communication, collaboration, and adaptability within a school environment
