Housekeeping Assistant

About the Role:

The Housekeeping/Laundry Aide is responsible for maintaining a clean and comfortable environment for residents. This includes cleaning resident rooms, delivering laundry, and assisting with community area maintenance. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team, following health and safety protocols and adhering to established standards of practice.

Responsibilities:

• Clean resident rooms and community areas
• Deliver laundry services
• Assist with maintenance and repairs
• Follow health and safety protocols
• Communicate effectively with residents and staff

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to communicate in English
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
• Good interpersonal skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work with supervisors, co-workers, and community staff
