About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Mergers and Acquisitions Associate to join our team at The Lawt. As a mid-level associate, you will be responsible for supporting emerging growth companies, public companies, and/or capital markets work at a peer firm.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting clients in mergers and acquisitions transactions, including due diligence, deal structuring, and negotiation.
  • Assisting in the preparation of legal documents, including contracts, agreements, and other transactional documents.
  • Collaborating with senior attorneys and other team members to provide exceptional client service.
  • Staying up-to-date with relevant laws, regulations, and industry trends to provide informed advice to clients.

Requirements:

  • 2-5 years of experience supporting mergers and acquisitions transactions at a peer firm (AmLaw top 50 or elite boutique).
  • J.D. from a top 20 law school, with excellent academic credentials.
