Prime Healthcare is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team at Centinela Hospital Medical Center. As a Registered Nurse in our Intensive Care Unit, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and collaborating with our interdisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.
Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care to critically ill patients, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
- Communicate effectively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Monitor and manage patient vital signs, including hemodynamic monitoring, and respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, including progress notes and medication administration records.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures to improve patient care.
- Current valid California Registered Nurse License
- Completion of Critical Care Course preferred
- Basic Arrhythmia Interpretation within 30 days of hire
- Current BCLS certificate upon hire and maintain current
- Current ACLS certificate upon hire and maintain current
- Previous Critical Care experience preferred
