Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive physical examinations and medical histories to assess patient conditions.
- Order, collect, and interpret laboratory and diagnostic tests to inform patient care decisions.
- Prescribe and recommend medical therapies and treatments, adhering to evidence-based medicine and professional guidelines.
- Develop and implement comprehensive patient treatment plans, collaborating with physicians and interdisciplinary team members as needed.
- Counsel patients and families on medical processes, health promotion, and disease management.
- Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program.
- Less than 1 year of experience in a related field.
- Current licensure as a Physician Assistant in the state of Texas.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire or transfer.
- Current certification by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistant (NCCPA).
