  • Enforce Laws and Regulations: Enforce laws and regulations, and issue citations and warnings as necessary.
  • Investigate Crimes: Investigate crimes and gather evidence to solve cases.
  • Provide Community Service: Provide community service and engage with the public to build trust and confidence.
  • Collaborate with Other Agencies: Collaborate with other law enforcement agencies and organizations to share information and best practices.
Requirements:
  • Education: A minimum of 60 semester hours or 90 quarter hours of coursework from an accredited college or university.
  • Age: At least 20 years and 6 months of age.
  • Experience: Prior law enforcement or military experience may be substituted for the education requirement.

  • Written Examination: A written examination to assess knowledge and skills.
  • Character/Background Investigation: A thorough character and background investigation.
  • Panel Interview: A panel interview to assess communication and interpersonal skills.
