The Food Safety Specialist at Nippon Shokken U.S.A. Inc. is responsible for ensuring the quality and safety of our products throughout the entire process, from product development to delivery. This role requires a skilled professional with expertise in food science, quality assurance, and regulatory compliance.
Responsibilities:- Develop and implement a comprehensive food safety system that meets industry standards.
- Conduct regular quality audits and assessments to ensure compliance with regulations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address potential quality issues.
- Provide training and guidance to employees on food safety procedures and protocols.
Estimated Salary: $24.75 - $28.10 per hour
Requirements:- Licensed to work in the US without visa support.
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Food Science or related field (Biology, Chemistry) or equivalent experience in QA/QC.
- Valid driver's license and ability to drive.
- Fluent English skills (reading, writing, speaking).
- Ability to lift over 40 pounds.
- 8+ hours of standing/sitting per day.
- Proficient in MS Office Suite and Windows OS.
- Basic calculation skills.
