Pediatric OR RN PRN Position

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Pediatric OR RN PRN to join our team at Memorial Health University Medical Center.
About the Role
- Provide professional surgical nursing care to patients utilizing the nursing process and collaborating with other members of the healthcare delivery team.
- Ensure effective communication with the surgical technologists, other Registered Nurses, surgeons, patients, and their families.
- Work alongside surgical teams to provide high-quality patient care.
- Assess patients before, during, and after surgery and maintain a sterile operating room.
- Perform interventions throughout the surgical procedure to maintain patient stability.
- Involve patients or designated support persons in decisions affecting their post-operative plan of care and rehabilitation process.
Requirements
- Graduate from an accredited school of Nursing: Associate's Degree in Nursing or higher is required.
- Current American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS) Health Care Provider is required.
- Minimum of 1-year previous experience of Perioperative Nursing is strongly preferred.
