Ultrasound Tech Job Description

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Ultrasound Tech to join our team at Great River Health System. As an Ultrasound Tech, you will be responsible for producing high-quality ultrasonic recordings of internal organs for use by physicians.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate diagnostic ultrasound equipment to demonstrate anatomical or physiological structures of the human body for diagnostic purposes.
  • Produce quality images as directed by physicians for the diagnosis or treatment of anatomic or physiologic disorders.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of general and cross-sectional anatomy, technical factors, and basic computer skills.
  • Perform OB/GYN sonography within the clinic setting.

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology and/or Ultrasound program.
  • ARDMS Registry or registry eligible.
  • Maintains valid licensure/certification/registration.
