Raw Materials Handler

We are seeking a skilled Meat Production Specialist to join our team at Jack Link's Protein Snacks. As a key member of our Raw/Formulation department, you will be responsible for trimming, injecting, and tumbling raw meat in preparation for smoking.
Key Responsibilities- Follows daily production schedule and achieves specified goals.
- Adds ingredients to batch and verifies against formulations in Blending system.
- Moves meat into machine(s) and/or combos and/or v-mags using appropriate tools and techniques.
- Loads meat racks, pushes meat trucks from one area to another, visually monitoring meat for quality.
- Maintains accurate records.
- Washes and sanitizes carts, racks, and trucks.
- Prevents and minimizes rework and/or inedibles.
- Performs standard operating procedures of production and inspection functions as directed.
- Accurately completes all necessary paperwork.
- Maintains a safe, clean, and organized work area.
- Ensures products are correctly labeled and identified for proper disposition.
- Keeps record of products used to follow FIFO (first in, first out).
- Must be dependable and able to work scheduled shift.
- Must be able to frequently lift up to 50#.
- Must be able to work in refrigerated environment (degrees).
- Must be able to follow Company safety and GMP's.
- Must be able to work independently without direct supervision.
