Job Overview
The Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist is responsible for administering anesthesia care for surgical and procedural patients within the Avera Marshall service area.
Qualifications and Experience
- Graduation from an accredited nurse anesthesia program is mandatory.
- A Master's or Doctorate Degree in Nurse Anesthesia is preferred.
- Experience with peripheral nerve blocks is advantageous.
Licensure and Certifications
- Required at the time of hiring
- Must hold an APRN license in the State of Minnesota and be board certified or eligible from the National Board on Certification and Recertification of Nurse Anesthetists.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification.
Work Schedule
- Rotating shifts, including early and late hours; 80 hours biweekly.
- 24-hour on-call coverage for Marshall, including weekdays, weekends, and holidays.
