Key Responsibilities- Comprehensive Hearing Evaluations: Conduct thorough hearing evaluations, hearing aid selection, and fitting for all clients, adhering to our client-centric service model.
- Hearing Aid Demonstrations: Routinely demonstrate hearing aids as part of annual evaluations to create a personalized auditory simulation experience for clients.
- Client Needs Assessment: Evaluate test results and assess client needs to make personalized recommendations, maximizing client benefits.
- Follow-up Care: Provide routine follow-ups, clean and checks, and hearing aid repairs, maintaining skills in ear impression taking, earmold modification, and ALD accessories.
- Community Outreach: Build a local community to generate service demand and support marketing campaigns, such as physician outreach and health fairs.
- Compliance and Quality: Comply with all state license laws, FDA guidelines, WSA policies, and HearUSA Quality Practice Guidelines (QPG), operating in a HIPAA-compliant manner.
- Continuing Education: Engage in Continued Professional Development to maintain expertise in all aspects of service delivery, from consultative counseling to the selling, fitting, and troubleshooting of current hearing aid technology.
- Experience: 1-5 years of experience in a similar Audiology or Hearing Aid Specialist role.
- Licensure: Active state license in Audiology and/or hearing aid dispensing.
- Skills: Ability to pay close attention to detail, high degree of accuracy, basic or advanced written communication skills, experience interacting with customers/clients, and ability to communicate detailed or technical information clearly and concisely.
