Position Overview:
The Licensed Pharmacist is responsible for a range of essential functions including the dispensing of medications and providing consultations to patients. This role acts as a medical authority, brand representative, patient supporter, and mentor to staff. The Pharmacist may also take on managerial responsibilities in the absence of senior leadership.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Exemplify outstanding service, commitment, and energy in all interactions.
- Offer patient consultations as required.
- Ensure compliance with state regulations and guidelines during store operations.
- Safeguard all confidential information in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
- Implement and adhere to all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Perform Manager on Duty (MOD) tasks as necessary, including overseeing store opening and closing procedures.
- Promote a workplace culture that aligns with Holistic Industries' mission to be a leading employer and retailer in the cannabis sector.
- Complete additional tasks as assigned by management.
- Fulfill mandatory training requirements, including a 4-hour Pharmacist certification mandated by the state health department.
- Verify patient certifications through the Patient Portal during all dispensing activities.
- Occasionally assist with cash handling tasks, including preparing deposits and maintaining daily logs.
Candidate Profile:
General Requirements:
- Must be at least 21 years old and eligible to obtain marijuana work credentials.
Education and Experience:
- Must hold a valid Pharmacist license in Pennsylvania.
- Required to complete and maintain all state-mandated training and certifications.
- Minimum age requirement is 18 years.
- Must successfully pass a comprehensive background check to obtain medical marijuana work credentials.
Essential Skills and Knowledge:
- Strong focus on compliance and regulatory adherence.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.
- Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy.
- Proficient in computer operations and point-of-sale systems.
