Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Service Technician I to join our team at DTN Management. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of maintenance and upkeep for our properties.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure the smooth operation of building systems, including but not limited to, plumbing, electrical, and HVAC.
  • Complete resident work orders in a timely and efficient manner, ensuring that all issues are resolved to the resident's satisfaction.
  • Maintain property grounds through daily inspections, cleaning, and maintenance, ensuring that our properties always look their best.
  • Assist with new move-in turnovers, including painting, cleaning, and general maintenance, to ensure a seamless transition for our residents.
  • Comply with all established site safety and hazardous communication standards, ensuring a safe working environment for yourself and others.
  • Assist with maintenance/cleanliness of pool area and its operations, ensuring that our amenities are always clean and well-maintained.
  • Deliver resident correspondences as requested, providing excellent customer service and communication.
  • Perform site inspection checklists as directed by management, ensuring that all properties are well-maintained and up to code.
  • Maintain accurate records for all work orders, preventative maintenance, and site inspections, providing valuable insights for management.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Basic knowledge of apartment building systems and maintenance preferred.
  • Positive attitude and good verbal and written communication skills essential.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and efficiently with residents, coworkers, supervisors, and vendors.
  • Reliable transportation to get to work and respond to on-call emergencies.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule any day of the week, including on-call rotations.
  • Basic tools required for maintenance provided.
  • Language skills: Ability to read and interpret directions, manuals, instructions, and company documents.
  • Ability to write for routine reporting and correspondence required.
