Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Therapeutic Spa Technician to join our team at NMMC Tupelo. As a Therapeutic Spa Technician, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional customer service and delivering high-quality therapeutic spa services to our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service
    • Provide excellent customer service to patients, families, and healthcare teams in a professional and courteous manner.
    • Ensure that all interactions with patients and families are respectful, empathetic, and responsive to their needs.
  • Therapeutic Spa Services
    • Deliver high-quality therapeutic spa services, including nail care, skin care, and other spa treatments, in accordance with established policies and procedures.
    • Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients and staff, adhering to infection control and safety protocols.
  • Documentation and Communication
    • Accurately document patient information, including medical history, treatment plans, and outcomes.
    • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination and patient satisfaction.
  • Requirements
    • High School diploma or equivalent required.
    • Certification in a specified field of expertise, such as nail technology or esthetics, is required.
    • Licensure by the Mississippi Board of Cosmetology or Mississippi State Board of Massage Therapy is required.
    • Proven communication and interpersonal skills, with experience in customer service and healthcare settings.
    • Maintain current CPR certification.
