About the Opportunity

HCA Physician Services is seeking a skilled Pathologist to join our team at HCA Florida Brandon Hospital. As a key member of our pathology department, you will be responsible for providing high-quality diagnostic services to patients in the Tampa area.

Responsibilities

  • Perform a wide range of diagnostic tests and procedures in anatomic and clinical pathology
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and timely diagnoses
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in pathology and medical technology
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes

Requirements

  • Board certification in anatomic and clinical pathology (AP/CP) required
  • Experience in breast/gyn pathology preferred but not necessary
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Active Florida medical license or eligibility to obtain
